These usually revolve around squash in the shape of
Squashathons, Charity hustles and other club competitions.
Coast to Coast

In 2000 a bunch of members decided to cycle the Coast to Coast
for charity. Most already cycled to work so some extra practice
nights were added just to 'get in shape'. The start of the Ride is
at St Bees which is only about a mile and a half from the club. The
ride was successful and raised nearly £3000 for the Palliative Care
unit of the West Cumberland Hospital.
Reivers Route

In 2002 it was the Reivers Route. The proceeds from this ride
gave £3000 to the Special Care Baby Unit at the West Cumberland
Hospital, £2800 for Tiny Lives & £1400 for Leukemia
Research.

March for Heroes (Route 30)
A massive thank you to all at Windscale Squash and Fitness Club
for their support for our March for Heroes event which took place
on Saturday 19th March 2011. The march from Maryport to Thornhill
was quite a challenge, however everyone taking part did themselves
proud. On the day the weather was fine which made for an enjoyable
and memorable experience for us all. The aim was to raise money for
Help for Heroes, a charity dedicated to supporting our wounded
service men and women, we are well on course to reaching our target
sum of £5000.
