Windscale B's excellent start to the season continued with a comfortable 4/1 victory away to Keswick B.  A five nil whitewash for Windscale was missed by the narrowest of margins when John Banks playing at two lost out 8/10 in the fifth game of a ding dong battle with Ian Creighton.  All other games resulted in 3 nil victories being recorded for Windscale.  Paul Ditchburn cruised to an easy 3-0 win against Jill Jackson.  Mike Jenkins came to terms with the vastly experienced Chris Pilling to win 3-0.  Jeff Smith playing against his home club, defeated hard hitting left hander Mike Felton 3-0 the first two games going to 10/8.  Playing at one, Dave Lacey overcame an early distraction to his game plan resulting from a couple of foot fault calls to comfortably defeat Dave Fanthorpe 3-0.
