A couple of dates for everyone's diary in the New Year!

The South African Knights are currently on their 25th Bi-annual Tour and are at Windscale again on Wednesday the 5th and Thursday the 6th of January, 2011. They have always expressed a wish to visit the Lake District and this time they have included a second day in their itinerary to accommodate that.

On the Wednesday (5th), they will play their usual game against a strong Windscale Select team starting at 7.00pm, tickets are £5 single, or £10 Family, and can be reserved at the gym reception. The price includes a hot/cold buffet in the restaurant following the evenings matches, making it great value.

On the Thursday (6th) following their visit to the Lake District during the daytime, they will run a junior coaching clinic for any interested juniors at approx. 6.00pm, followed by a fun competition where any club squash player can take the Knights on in a short (best of 5 point) game. This is being used as a mini fund raiser for them, so bring along your competition entry fee £2 per challenge against them, and enjoy the evening regardless of your result.
